Turn everyday coaching insight into structured player development.
Your coaches already see what players need. SquadForm turns those observations into clear development focuses, relevant training interventions and an ongoing player history — without adding another administrative burden for the coaching staff.

The real problem
Professional development processes shouldn’t require a professional-club-sized staff.
A head of academy at a professional club and a youth coordinator at an ambitious amateur club have very different resources — but often face the same fundamental problem.
What a club knows about a player’s development sits in scattered places: with individual coaches, in conversations on the touchline, in notes on a phone, and in the memory of whoever happened to be there.
SquadForm puts one structured development process around exactly that knowledge — one that also works with a small staff.
From observation to development
One connected development workflow.
Four steps between what a coach sees and what a player actually works on. At every step the decision stays with the coaching staff.
Observation
Coaches record what they actually noticed — in their own words, straight after the session. No compulsory forms, no rating scale for the whole squad.
Observation · Tue, 19:12
coaching staff onlySofia is late into the counter-pressing after losing the ball. Really strong in the air at set pieces.
Development focus
SquadForm gives the observations shape and derives weighted development focuses per player — each with a short rationale you can follow, not a black box.

44 %Every focus comes with a short rationale — the coach confirms or corrects it.
Intervention
For each focus a training week is prepared from the curated exercise library — matched to age, position, equipment and supervision.

Review
The coach checks, adjusts and approves. New observations sharpen the focus and become part of the player’s development history.
The same four terms carry the whole platform — on this page and inside the app.
Development over time
A single note says little. Context says a lot.
SquadForm connects observations across weeks: the focus is sharpened when something changes, and the next step grows out of what came before. The decision is made by the coaching staff.
Less administration
No endless assessment forms. No hand-kept plan for every player.
Individual development rarely fails for lack of intent — it fails on effort. That is where SquadForm starts.
Observe naturally
Coaches capture what actually happened rather than scoring every player across dozens of categories.
Build context
Individual observations add up, across sessions and weeks, into a picture that stays.
Keep coaches in control
SquadForm prepares and structures. What is relevant is the coach’s call — and every plan needs their approval.
Designed to fit your club
Keep the tools that already work.
SquadForm does not need to replace any of these:
- team communication
- match scheduling
- video platform
- athlete management system
- scouting software
- calendar
It adds one focused layer for individual player development:
Start with one team. Expand only when it creates value.
Where it fits
A development process that scales with the club.
The same mechanics, four very different starting points.
Ambitious amateur club
A practical way to work individually with 18–22 players without maintaining dozens of development plans by hand.
Larger youth department
More consistency across several coaches and age groups.
Academy
A player’s development context is preserved when they move between teams and staff.
Professional environment
A structured layer for individual development that fits around existing methodology and performance workflows.
These are use cases, not a client list: SquadForm deliberately names no clubs here.
Roles
One process. Four perspectives.
Every role sees what it needs for its own work — and no more.
Coach
Capture observations, manage development focuses, prepare interventions and approve them.
Player
See the approved priorities and their own sessions — clearly, and without comparison to others.
Youth leadership
Coordinator access across teams and age groups, for more continuity in the department.
Club
Development context that does not disappear when a coach moves on or an age group moves up.
The coach’s view
One look after training — everything that matters.
Who has new observations? Which plans are waiting for approval? Where is it going well? One overview instead of scraps of paper.
The player’s view
The player sees exactly one thing: their plan.
Approved plans land straight on the player’s phone — clear sessions to tick off, personal benchmarks instead of comparison with others.
- Exercises with instructions — tick them off when they’re done
- Personal benchmarks: everyone measures against themselves
- Four times a season a report with grades and a personal message
- Coach notes stay invisible to players — always

Your football language
Your methodology stays the basis.
SquadForm works along the attributes a club uses anyway — and turns them into the selection for each individual player:
- Position and age group
- Team, age group and position are part of the player profile and help decide which exercises are eligible at all.
- Four development areas
- Technical, tactical, athletic and mental — every development focus comes from that catalogue, not from free text.
- Practical constraints
- Equipment, available time and the need for supervision are applied before the selection, not after it.
- Your own knowledge modules
- A club can add its own knowledge modules; they sit alongside the centrally maintained content.
To be straight about it: the exercise library is curated and maintained centrally. A fully club-specific methodology is not self-configurable today — if that matters to you, it belongs on the table before a pilot.
AI as infrastructure
Automation where it helps. Judgement where it matters.
SquadForm uses language models server-side for clearly bounded tasks:
- giving observations structure
- preparing development focuses, each with a short rationale
- composing training weeks from the curated library
- summarising the week for the whole team
- drafting report texts that the coach rewrites
What SquadForm does not do
SquadForm does not decide whether a player is talented, whether they should be selected, or whether a coach observation is objectively true. No suggestion reaches a player without approval.
The system supports football judgement. It does not replace it.
Built for youth football
Player development data requires careful handling.
These are minors — which is why the safeguards in SquadForm are not settings but architecture.
Consent first, then training
Without confirmed parental consent, not a single feature is unlocked.
Notes stay with the coaching staff
Row level security down to the individual row: no player sees what a coach has written.
Data stays in the EU
The database and sign-in run in the EU region in Frankfurt.
No scales, no diets
Progress through benchmarks — never through weight or body data.
Built in Brussels
One problem in football. Nothing else.
SquadForm is an independent football technology project built in Brussels around a single question:
How can a club give every player a clear individual development process without creating hours of additional work for its coaches?
The platform is developed iteratively around real coaching workflows — with an eye on practical adoption at the club, not on becoming another all-in-one club system.

FAQ
The questions a club asks first.
Answered briefly and plainly — anything else we are happy to clear up in a conversation.
Does SquadForm replace the coach?
No. SquadForm prepares development focuses and training weeks, put together exclusively from the curated exercise library. No suggestion reaches a player before a coach has approved it. The football judgement stays with the coaching staff.
Do coaches have to assess every player after every session?
No. Coaches note what stands out to them — two or three players per session is perfectly normal. SquadForm collects those observations across weeks and sharpens the focuses as new ones come in. There is no compulsory rhythm and there are no assessment forms.
Do we have to replace our current club software?
No. Team communication, match scheduling, video platform, athlete management, scouting and calendar can all stay as they are. SquadForm adds a layer for individual player development: observation, development focus, intervention, review. Basics such as a team calendar are on board — they are simply not the point.
Can we start with one team?
Yes, and that is exactly the idea. The Team plan covers a single team; extending to the whole youth department is a later step. For a pilot, one real coaching staff in one real environment is enough.
How does SquadForm handle youth-player data?
SquadForm is built for minors: the database and sign-in run in the EU region in Frankfurt, and parental consent is mandatory before a player uses the app. Coach notes are technically invisible to players (row level security), and weight or body data are never recorded at all. The details are in the privacy policy and the data processing agreement.
Can SquadForm fit our club methodology?
Partly — and we would rather say where the limit is. SquadForm works along position, age group, equipment and the four development areas technical, tactical, athletic and mental; a club can add its own knowledge modules. The exercise library is curated and maintained centrally, and a fully club-specific methodology is not self-configurable today. If that is decisive for you, it belongs on the table before a pilot.
